Transform4Europe

UP is an Associate Member of the Transform4Europe European University Alliance

The University of Primorska has achieved one of the key objectives of its Medium-Term Development Strategy 2021–2027 by becoming a member of the Transform4Europe European University Alliance.

Transform4Europe (T4EU) brings together universities of different sizes and academic profiles from border regions across Europe. What unites them is a shared vision for the future of European higher education—one that plays a central role in shaping Europe’s future. The alliance is strongly committed to student-centred learning and close engagement with the communities in which its member universities operate.

Eleven universities from across Europe have joined forces to create the Transform4Europe European University. Located in regions undergoing significant social, economic, and cultural transformation, these institutions serve as important drivers of change and innovation.

Together, the alliance brings together more than 150,000 students and over 10,000 researchers, creating a multilingual and international campus with joint study programmes, shared courses, collaborative research projects, events across all partner institutions, and numerous other initiatives.
