Deadline extension for the Young Researchers’ Training Programme at UP IAM

University of Primorska has published a Public Tender for the selection of candidates for the Young Researchers’ Training Programme for the year 2022. Five PhD students will do research work with their mentors while studying, and will ultimately obtain a doctorate of science. All mentors were selected through a Public Tender published by the Slovenian Research Agency (ARRS), namely at the Andrej Marušič Institute (UP IAM) and the Faculty of Health Sciences (UP FVZ).

At UP IAM, the application deadline has been extended to 22 August 2022 for positions with mentors:

Prof. Dr. Enes Pasalic – research field: Mathematics; research programme: P1-0404 Mathematical Modelling and Encryption: from Theoretical Concepts to Real-Life Applications, UP Andrej Marušič Institute

Prof. Dr. Dragan Marušič – research field: Mathematics; research programme: P1-0285 Algebra, discrete mathematics, probability and game theory, UP Andrej Marušič Institute

Prof. Dr. Bojan Kuzma  – research field: Mathematics; research programme: P1-0285 Algebra, discrete mathematics, probability and game theory, UP Andrej Marušič Institute

Only one candidate can be selected per mentor. If several candidates apply to the public tender, they will be ranked according to their overall score under the selection criteria. The candidate with the highest score will be selected. If the selected candidate withdraws or fails to provide the necessary supporting documents by the deadline set in the public tender, the next candidate will be selected based on the overall score obtained.

The new application deadline is 22 August 2022.
