About the Alumni Club of the University of Primorska
The Alumni Club of the University of Primorska (Alumni UP) is the official association that brings together graduates of the University of Primorska as well as the alumni clubs of all member faculties of the university.
Alumni UP represents a hub for connecting graduates, offering opportunities for networking and encouraging continued professional and personal development, lifelong learning, research, and, above all, social interaction. Regardless of whether you wish to develop new skills, build connections, or simply stay informed, Alumni UP remains a place that will support and connect you in these efforts — online or in person, anytime and anywhere.
The central goal of Alumni UP is to develop into a strong professional network that connects people and ideas. Alumni UP reflects the character of the University of Primorska and fosters the values that unite us. It embraces diversity, encourages creativity, and inspires confidence for new professional paths and stronger community engagement.
Through its many initiatives and goals, Alumni UP strives to become a source of inspiration for new ideas, opportunities, development, and personal fulfilment. Join us and become part of the Alumni UP network.
Finally, we also invite you to actively contribute to shaping Alumni UP by participating in the club’s management and sharing your opinions, comments, and suggestions to help develop Alumni UP and its activities.
About the UP FAMNIT Alumni Club
The University of Primorska Alumni Club (Alumni UP) is the official association that brings together graduates of the University of Primorska, as well as the alumni clubs of all member faculties of the university under one umbrella.
Alumni UP serves as a hub for connecting graduates, offering networking opportunities and encouraging further professional and personal development, lifelong learning, research, and, last but not least, socializing. No matter what you want to develop, build, or simply stay informed about, Alumni UP remains a place that will support and connect you in these efforts — whether online or in person, anytime and anywhere.
You become a member of the UP FAMNIT Alumni Club upon graduation, but you may also join at any later time by completing the membership application form on the website. Membership in the association is voluntary and free of charge.
Ambassadors
Purpose
- ✔ Connecting and networking graduates with professors, researchers, staff members, students, and faculty partners,
- ✔ supporting the continued personal and professional development of graduates,
- ✔ encouraging professional and scientific cooperation between graduates and University of Primorska Faculty of Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Information Technologies (UP FAMNIT),
- ✔ promoting and strengthening collaboration between the faculty’s teaching and scientific research activities and employers,
- ✔ ensuring the high quality of the faculty’s study programmes through feedback from graduates,
- ✔ promoting the knowledge and achievements of its members, as well as promoting the faculty’s study programmes and maintaining the reputation of professions related to the faculty’s fields within society and beyond,
- ✔ participating in promotional activities aimed at increasing the faculty’s visibility and strengthening its reputation, thereby enhancing the value of its graduates,
- ✔ exchanging experiences and examples of good practice within the field,
- ✔ strengthening the identity and sense of belonging among the community of graduates of UP FAMNIT and the University of Primorska.
Membership Benefits
OPPORTUNITIES AND DISCOUNTS FOR MEMBERS
Members of the Alumni Club are entitled to a 10% discount on all services and goods offered by the University of Primorska, except in cases where a higher discount is already specified in the price list for an individual service or product.
Exceptions include services related to studies, specifically those defined by the following price lists:
- tuition and enrollment contribution fees,
- tuition fee price lists,
- price lists for other study-related contributions and other individual services (tariff section and UP FVZ),
- library service price lists.
LANGUAGE CENTRE OF THE UNIVERSITY OF PRIMORSKA
Members of Alumni UP receive a 10% discount on all regular programmes offered by the Language Centre of the University of Primorska.
