We invite you to the Bovec Summer School, a hub for international dialogue where languages, cultures, and students from four countries come together.

What awaits you in Bovec?
The summer school program is designed to be interdisciplinary and multilingual. Your two-week experience will include:
Intensive language courses: Learning and improving one of the languages of our broader region: Slovenian, German, Italian, Croatian, or Friulian.
Lectures and workshops related to culture, languages, identity, and challenges in the cross-border European space.
Cultural and historical excursions: Exploring the stunning natural and cultural heritage of the Upper Soča Valley, including a traditional visit to the Kluže Fortress and fieldwork.
Who is the program intended for?
Undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students from all fields of study are eligible to apply.
Accommodation at Hotel Alp Bovec and all meals are covered by the University of Primorska.
Upon successful completion of the summer school, students will receive 3 ECTS credits.
